had science test today .
so decided to round up what i rmembered .
okay .
the circulatory system consists of the heart , blood vessels and blooood .
the heart is made up of muscles .
and has four chambers .
they are the left atrium , right atrium , left ventricle and the right ventricle !
The right side of the blood consists of deoxygenated blood whereas the left side of the heart consists of oxygenated blood .
There are three types of blood vessels
they are ; the arteries , veins and capillaries
the arteries carries blood AWAY from the heart where as the veins carries blood TOWARDS the heart .
The capillaries allows substances to pass through them into the cells and from the cells , into the blood .
the blood is a BLAH - i forgot what . and it consists of the red blood cell , white blood cell , and the platelets , - pale yellow liquid - and it ( the liquid ) is called plasma !
the blod that we see is red in colour due to HAEMOGLOBIN ! haemoglobin is rich in oxygen and brings the oxygen around the body .
the blood passes through the heart twice and it ( the circulation ) is called a double circulation . ^^v
